RESIDENTIAL & VISITOR PARKING PERMITS

ONLINE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

RESIDENTIAL PERMITS

  • Upload a copy of the entire front page of your ICBC insurance policy in one of the following supported formats: pdf, png, jpg, jpeg, DOC and DOCX in order to provide proof of residency within a designated Parking Permit area and confirm your vehicle information. You can help the review process by ensuring that your application is complete. Applications that are incomplete (missing required information) will require additional review time and may delay approval.

  • Leased Vehicles: If your address is only displayed on page 2 of your policy under "Location Address", please submit both pages 1 and 2.

  • Company Vehicles: If your name and address do not appear on the policy, please include, along with the policy, a document from your company that indicates you are the principal driver and full vehicle description i.e. licence plate number, make, and model.

  • Gross Vehicle Weight of Vehicle: Should not exceed 5,500 kg

  • Vehicle Type: Should not be defined as a "Recreational Vehicle"
*After your application has been submitted, within 3 hours, your licence plate number will be entered into the parking enforcement database and you may begin parking on your street.

VISITOR PERMITS

  • Provide a copy of identification that shows proof of residency within a designated Parking Permit area.
*After your application has been submitted, within 10 business days, your new Visitor permit hanger or renewal stickers will be mailed to the residential address you provided. This must be displayed in order to park on your block.
